Don’t you just love long weekends? That long weekend that you’re able to fully rest and enjoy without worrying about work. If you are taking that long weekend to the next level and you are planning on going somewhere to have a vacation, then here are some tips on what to pack (you can use this as a checklist) and how to prepare for a smooth, hassle free and relaxing three day vacay!
1. Beauty and Health Basics
The good thing about a three day vacation is that a small bag should be enough because you won’t need to bring a lot of things with you. But girls, you know how attached we are to all of our toiletries. It’s fine to bring all of your toiletries even if it takes most of the space in your bag because you won’t be needing a lot of clothes. Here are some of the beauty and health basics that you might need to bring:
- Makeup bag
- Shower toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste)
- Hair brush
- Hairspray
- Deodorant
- Perfume
- Body lotion
- Antibacterial wipes
2. Where are you going?
After you have packed your beauty and health basics, you must think about the clothes that you will be wearing and bringing. Are you going somewhere warm? Then you would need a bikini. Are you going somewhere cold? Then you need to bring a sweater, a jacket, and lots of socks! Try to think of the activities that you will be doing and create a list of the clothing that you need to bring. Here are some of the clothes that you might need:
- A pair of jeans
- A pair of boots
- A pair of flip flops
- A pair of heels
- One dress
- 2 t-shirts
- 4-6 pairs of underwear
- Few pieces of jewelry that would go with all of your outfit
3. Extra equipment
What would a vacation be if you won’t be able to capture that special moment that you had in the three day escape to paradise? Here are a few extra equipment that you’d not want to forget to bring:
- Camera
- Cellphone
- Chargers
- Headphones
- Batteries (if needed)
One cool tip for you to save space on the bag that you will be using for your three day vacation: Roll all of your pieces of clothing – this way they take up my less room than folding! Plus, it reduces wrinkles. Pack the rolls in your bag first, lining the bottom with them, and then fill in the gaps with extra undies, socks and bras. Put your toiletries and extra equipment on top and voila!
Have a fabulous vacation!
