Facial Exercises That Help With Anti-Aging

How to Exercise Face

Here is a simple face yoga exercise to get you started.  Start by smoothing out forehead.  Simply raise your eyebrows as high as possible and hold that pose for five seconds.  Then, puff your cheeks by holding as much air as you can in your mouth.  This helps firm your cheek muscles.  Alternately, you can also pucker your lips into an O shape and switch to a wide smile expression repeatedly.

To get rid of crow’s feet, gently tug your outer eye area moving outward to the hairline.  You can also smooth out furrows in your forehead by placing your fingers in the center of your forehead and gently pushing downward while you lift your eyebrows upward.  Do the same for thirty seconds.

For your nasal labial folds, more commonly known as laugh lines, use your three center fingers to press on your cheeks while smiling as big and hard as you can.  You should be able to lift your cheek muscles against your fingers.

To avoid a sagging chin and neck, stretch out your neck muscles by sitting in a comfortable position and raise your face to the ceiling.  Once in that position, pucker up and stick out your tongue.

To end the exercise and smooth out lines, relax all the muscles in your face and reset to a neutral, unlined state.
