Celebrities make fashion mistakes, too! Blame it on the stylist, or their eccentric sense of fashion, but they’re no strangers to being fashion victims. Here, we’ve rounded up some celebrity fashion faux pas for the year 2015. You be the judge and decide if the different ensembles are okay or bound for the trash bin!
Half and Half
Every girl must have a good pair of jeans in her wardrobe. But not the pair which is actually made of half sweatpants! This might be perfect for someone who can’t decide whether she wants to just lounge around at home or actually go out. Miley Cyrus was seen sporting such a cross breed creation paired with a leather jacket. And if that’s not enough, Jennifer Lawrence poses at Paris Fashion Week with what seems to be yet another cross breed – this time half-pants and half-skirt. Rihanna joins in with a contribution in the conjoined jeans department.
Sheer Monstrosities
It’s sexy to show off some skin in strategic areas, but don’t go overboard! Jaimie Alexander wore what seemed to be a decent black long sleeved gown to “Thor: The Dark World Premiere” if only it didn’t have a giant sheer cut out in front and at the back! She might as well have gone naked in this piece which didn’t leave much to the imagination.
Same goes with Julianne Hough who graced the Emmy Awards in what looks like a one-piece swimsuit decked in a beaded tulle curtain. Sure, it might not look bad, but put it in context (the Emmy’s!) and you know this peakaboo outfit just isn’t appropriate.
And as for Jessica Biel, well the photo should speak for itself!
Printed Disaster
Prints are not the easiest style to rock in a dress. You got to hand it over to these celebs for trying! Cate Blanchett looks quite happy in her printed black dress, which reminded many of girl scout badges. It does not do her any good that the shape of the dress is totally unflattering for her figure.
Kim K. makes it to the list with this tight-fitting floral gown which covered almost her entire body. Take note of her “gloves” which are actually attached to the actual sleeves of the gown.
And while animal prints may look hot, it doesn’t look so good in a revealing jumpsuit which looks so much like something a wrestler would wear!
Unflattering Ensembles
There are figure-forming dresses, and then there are those that look like bags thrown over the body! Cate Blanchett sports the remake of a vintage Balenciaga gown that features an oversized cape. Drew Barrymore hides her figure in a two-piece ensemble that looks to be made out of sleeping bag material in camouflage prints. And Lady Gaga? Well, she’s just being her.
